I like to solve problems and am a lifelong learner. I first earned my MA.Ed and two years later my MA.SPED, and throughout my career, I have been driven by my intellectual curiosity to find answers to the most pressing questions.
With over 20 years of experience in San Diego County as a teacher, and as a recognized leader with Child Welfare Services and in the non-profit world of social services, I bring strategic-centric mindfulness that enables my teams to develop and thrive so that they can bring “unreasonable” customer service to the humans we support. I have found that nothing satisfies me more than meeting new people, fostering new relationships, advocating for an inclusive and diverse culture, and contributing to the growth of my team. I believe in being a supportive mentor and driver of positive social change.
Born and raised in Southern California, I have deep roots in the communities of San Diego County. I am at my happiest when I’m spending time with my two grown sons, cooking and baking for the people I love, playing in the waves and working out, and when I’m at home at my cozy beach cottage with my husband and two dogs.
