Whether it’s tutoring, academic coaching, or test preparation, students who receive additional support outside of school generally experience improved academic performance, like higher grades and test scores, and improved communication and social skills.

Lifelong learning benefits
Our experienced education team developed and designed Marsell’s after-school programs with students' needs in mind, creating space for them to succeed and get ahead in the classroom, at college, and in the workforce.
Benefit 1
Tutoring sessions and test prep programs can help students of any age develop better study routines, time management skills, and organizational techniques.
Benefit 2
Not only do a higher GPA and test scores increase one's chances of getting into college, but students can also stand out for completing AP exams and engaging in after-school activities.
Benefit 3
Our education team can tailor their approach to the unique needs of each student. Whether a student is more of a visual learner, needs a slower pace, or wants to be more challenged academically, we can match the educator who best suits the student.
all-inclusive support
Our academic coaching program is a holistic, 4-year package for high school students from their first year of high school until they graduate. This plan provides all of the tutoring services and test prep that a high school student may need, and it also provides additional support in building the student’s story, resume, and college goals and career goals. All of our other education services are "à la carte," allowing parents and students the opportunity to decide what works best for them.

reaching your educational goals
1-on-1 sessions with an experienced educator can provide students with the confidence they need to ask questions and communicate their needs. This opportunity at our after-school programs can translate back into the classroom and with them through life. We work with tutors who are experts in any subject and can modify their teaching approach to the different needs and grade of each student. Some of the subjects we offer private tutoring for are:

Get College Credit and Feel College Ready
Whether you or your student are studying for AP US History, AP English Language and Composition, AP Statistics, or something more niche, our tutors and educators don’t just reteach class material. At Marsell, we can prepare test takers for the style of questions they can expect to see, help build beneficial organizational, time-management, and study skills, and overall increase their confidence going into the exam. A high AP test score does things like:
Prepare For College Entrance Exams
A high score on the SAT or ACT can mean more choices when applying to colleges, better chances of admission, and increased opportunities for scholarships. Test preparation for a standardized test familiarizes students with the types of questions they can see on the assessment and gets them prepared for the timing and structure of the test. Having that frame of reference can help reduce anxiety on test day and boost confidence going into the exam.

Excel in and Out of School
Your path to academic success starts here; Marsell is here every step of the way to help guide you and your family through it.
We’ll start by learning more about the academic needs of the student as well as their goals and challenges, both in and out of the classroom.
After the consultation, we may conduct an assessment to better understand the student’s learning style, academic strengths, and problem-solving skills.
Based on the consultation and/or educational testing, our education team will recommend the program and services that are the most appropriate for the student’s needs. Whether it’s tutoring, test prep, or long-term academic coaching, we’ll ensure the plan is aligned with their unique goals.
Once enrolled in Marsell’s After-School Program, students will receive consistent support, monitoring, and feedback to ensure their progress stays on track.
Skilled Tutors, Teachers, and Educators
Our education team is committed to providing compassionate and customized support for every student. This includes those facing challenges like ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, test anxiety, burnout, or other obstacles. We understand these challenges can make learning difficult, and we take a thoughtful approach to adapt our methods to accommodate each scholar. Parents also have the flexibility to choose a tutor/educator who they feel will be the best match for their student.
